Students are still occupying the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. Other faculties and universities in the country that are also occupied (or classes are not held due to student protests) are the University of Zadar, Academy of Applied Art in Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Pula and Croatian Studies in Zagreb.

Since the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has been occupied for three weeks now and students prevent classes from being held at the premises, the Faculty Council (in cooperation with the University of Zagreb), decided to organize classes at a number of alternative locations in the city. Those classes have started today although many students have refused to attend them.

A number of teachers at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are not satisfied with the way the classes have been organized. Today they met to discuss the situation at the faculty at a meeting at which about 130 teachers were present. You can read the conclusions of this meeting in English, German and French.
